Took the masking off the Chevelle, underestimated the pain-in-butt factor of un-taping all the brake lines, re-installed cowl trim.

The brake booster is still in the back seat; the master cylinder is just hanging out there to get it in kind-of-the-right-spot. I should make it down to Summit sometime next week for a few key parts; in the interim I have some parts to clean up and re-install, mainly the suspension/steering .

Thanks!

I have to keep reminding myself that this project includes some bodywork near the rear wheel arches. I figure at some point I’ll get to a point on the front where I’m waiting for something (much later) and be able to get around to that. Plenty to do for now, though!

I try :)

I’ve been pretty fortunate lately to not have much else going on in the evenings after work and on weekends; I’m trying to get as much done as reasonably possible before I get hit with a surprise round of work travel . I know of one week-long one that’s “most likely” coming up and a potential 3-week one that nobody knows if it’ll happen or not later this spring. The impact of a week on-site for work is more like two weeks, since you lose a couple days in advance getting ready and several afterwards getting caught back up around-the-house. Those add up quick (see progress at the end of august to end of november vs the past month).

Yeah, I can see how that would happen.
